1. The tutorial and different career paths. - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
There is nothing wrong with the tutorials and the way they present things. Having players start off with bare bones skills is part of the experience. What good is having 800k skillpoints if a newbie doesn't know what they do? By running into thing...

Sable Moran wrote: The skill Cybernetics indirectly affects your refining results. Train that skill and plug the relevant implants in your head and you can get 100% refines without the Metallurgy + Scrapmetal skills. Refining V Refinery Effi...

4. Skill training when I cancel - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Your skill training will persist as long as your account is fully subscribed, even if you cancel your recurring billing. Once the actual subscription time runs out, the training stops. Way back in the day, this wasn't the case, and you could set...

5. Cybernetics V, when is it worth it? - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
I'm currently working with Cybernetics IV In my high-sec clone I have full +4 implants and for the skillwires, I use the middle-tier versions of them. When do you think it is worth it to train up for Cybernetics V?

6. Screpmetal Processing - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
The fact that perfect refining is not something that can be done by everyone is a good thing...it rewards those who take the time to train it. If you train up perfect refining just for your own purposes (refining your own mined ore, refining you...

7. Question about planetary interaction - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
With PI prices in decline but PI taxes remaining static, high sec worlds are becoming less and less profitable. If you have to do high sec PI, find an area with not a lot of traffic. Check with your corp to see if they have any PI holdings in low ...

9. When is the best time to train up your alts a little? - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
When I need to venture into a dangerous part of space and use a jumpclone (to protect my main implants from loss) I use that time to start skilling up an alt. I can fit my alt in +3s quite quickly and cheaply. That way I protect my implants from...

10. Skills which take a long time to train... - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Any skill with a high multiplier going to rank V would be your best bet. If it happens to be a skill that is outside your current neural remap (A Per/Will skill if you are currently Int/Mem for example) even better.

Think of it this way: Every time you do something, one or more of your skills are going to be drawn upon to help you out. The more skill points you have invested in this activity, the more of them will be drawn upon (and thus actively benefit you)...

12. Going from +2 Implant set to +3 - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
+2 to +3 is not a big jump. You still can use them with Cybernetics I and +3s don't cost that much on market. In fact, I'd advise against buying +3s with your LPs. Chances are, your NPC corp offers some skill wire implants, a few of which have s...
